A Neo-Mutazilite thinker. Draw things. Build stuff.

My journey started as an artist, drawing anime-style art, joined various art circles, attended comicon, opened up an art booth. The art world became increasingly hard to relate to as I got older. I don't play Genshin, follow the latest anime, or listen to K-Pop. People accused me of being homophobic and anti-Ukrainian just because I didn't agree with them, resulting in mass reporting of my Instagram and losing a huge chunk of my followers. The following years I migrated to Twitter or X, thinking I had found my people, until it became clear that the racist echo chamber was way worse than I thought. I left Twitter with 3k followers. It had become too heavy, a burden to show up let alone post a drawing to satisfy my audience. Now I mainly draw for myself and don't post it anywhere. It's much better that way.

I'm also a bachelor of Biology, minor in Bioinformatics. For the longest time my interests have aligned with tech and computers. I love video games, electronics, science fiction, and more. So when I started to feel like I no longer belonged in the art world, I quietly disappeared into tech. Then I discovered LLMs and started experimenting with them.

I'm also a geek in geopolitical stuff and what people would call a tinfoil hat wearing conspiracy theorist. I've been deeply interested in Islamic eschatology since I was 9 or 10 years old. It started from a sudden interest in geography. An atlas was my only friend back when I was 3. That led me to learning history and discovering the Islamic golden age, and I realized what was lost from that era: the ability to think critically.

The Mutazilite was the force that fueled curiosity amongst the scholars of that era. Today some of them would be considered heretics just because they had different views regarding certain things. Today's Islam is heavily influenced by cultural Islam, the kind that people see happening in Afghanistan or Saudi Arabia. I came to a conclusion that there is no way Islam is reduced to only laws and limiting women's freedom in education, when the oldest university on earth was built by a Muslim woman, Fatima al-Fihri in Morocco 859 CE. The term Neo-Mutazilite came to mind after rediscovering it on old forums and snippets from books I found online. I'm advocating for reason and critical thinking as opposed to madrasa or pesantren doctrine that often results in the silencing of the mind. Studying faith with no clear intention of understanding God's creation the way Muslim scholars did centuries ago, and just accepting the biblical way of creation as unquestionable doctrine.

My entire political view can be categorized as solarpunk fanatics, maybe democratic socialist, or simply a centrist as I've been in both left and right echo chambers. I've also been on BDS, boycotting Israeli products since 2009. I think I just simply want to make the world a better place, helping humanity in any way I can.
